Sermon: “Not I, But Christ”- Galatians 2:20
Crucifixion- “I have been crucified with Christ”

Dead to the law- Gal.2:19, Christ perfectly kept the law, so I keep it in His strength, not for salvation

Dead to sin- Rom.6:2,7,11; 1 Pet.2:24- The old life is ended. We are resurrected to a new life

Dead to the flesh- Gal.5:24- The old nature should no longer dominate us

Dead to the world- Gal.6:14, Col.2:20, The world no longer has the same attraction
Incarnation- “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me”

Christ has regenerated us- imparted new life- His life in us- John 3:3

Our victory is not in imitation of Christ, but His powerful presence within- 2 Cor. 13:5

Christ in us is the hope of glory- Col.1:27
Sanctification- “The life I live in the body”

We live a changed life, it is not the same- 2 Cor.5:17

Christ gives us a new desire for holiness and heaven- Eph.3:17

We are progressively made more like Christ as we obey the Spirit and the Scriptures- 2 Cor.3:18
Cooperation- “I live by faith in the Son of God”

When we asked Christ to save us, we called on the name of the Lord- our new Boss- Rom.10:13

We are under new management- things will go well when we listen to our new manager-Lu.6:46

We get into trouble when we lean to our own understanding- try to figure it out- Prov.3:5,6
Salvation- Who loved me and gave Himself for me”

Get a hold of the fact that Jesus personally loves you- individuality is not lost in the mass of humanity
